SPAM Procedures

If you have email in your inbox that has been tagged as SPAM in the subject line, but is not spam you can prevent it from being tagged in the future by:

  1. Create a new email message
  2. Address it to : not-spam@labs.sophos.com
  3. From your Inbox, select the spam email that you received - you must select the email, not the content.
  4. Drag and drop the selected item(s) into the new email. This will now show as an empty email with the suspect email as an attachment.
  5. Send the email to Sophos at the address you selected above.

For any unwanted spam messages, follow the procedures above, but send it to: sirt@ucf.edu and is-spam@labs.sophos.com.
